I can't see the picture, either, but, in about:config search for a setting called "privacy.resistFingerprinting". If it is True, set it to false.

ResistFingerprinting is primarily meant for Tor Browser and will always open in the same window size for anyone. This makes it harder for websites to track you using your (possibly quite unique) window size in fullscreen.

Thanks for the image, I can see it now. That strongly looks like a incompatible/corrupt language pack or extension.

Try to start Firefox from the command line:

    Code:
    firefox.exe -p
That will open the profile selector. Create a new profile and start it. If it works that way, your old profile is corrupt or has an incompatible extension installed.

I have re-copied the profile again from this desktop to the laptop.
And as before, after inserting the copy, Firefox started normal.
When I closed it and tried to open it again... the problem was right back.

I checked the size of the profile and the original is 182 Files, 84 Folders and 111MB, the copy after inserting had the identical size on the laptop.

But after closing and restarting Ff the profile has only 173 files in 84 folders and only 107MB...

In sessions-backuprestore two files were not copied both recovery files: .baklz4 and .jasonlz4
    These files are missing

    cookies.squlite-shm and -wal
    favicons.sqlite also -shm and -wal
    places.sqlite also -shm and -wal
webappstore.sqlite also -shm and -wal are missing, but there is anew file, that ws not in the installed profile:

    sessinonsstore.jsonlz4

Does any of this mean anything?

    I get:

firefox.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable progarm or batch file.

(I can open the installed firefox version in firefox safe mode)

You first need to change to the directory where Fx is installed in.

Yes, then it was a corrupted profile. Usually seen with outdated language packs or add-ons, however, script injections could also be the culprit.
