[PROBLEM] System File Check (sfc) fails

    So far had this once on my Win 8.1, but the dism /restorehealth run fixed it successfully.

    Whith that error persisting, there's no chance to actually check the system :doh:.

    Strange thing is that i worked well in the beginning but now it is giving error maybe a update thingy :(

    Same thing here. As an add on, getting an error when trying to open system restore settings. Error code 0x8000203.
    Task Scheduler won't run either. Services are at default.

    Yes, you should. I've run run that command and did not have the problem. I wonder if running sfc/scannow in a VM negates the error?

    the right command is: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Yeah, i know :cool2:. But even

    Code:
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:wim:X:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess
    didn't help to solve that issue.
