I'm new to this board, so if I'm asking a previously asked question, I apologise (a search just sent me back to my search engine). I just bought a Dell Optiplex Gx 270 and while setting it up, came across an unusual problem. I have been using dual boot with Windows XP and Kubuntu 12.04 for some time now, and previously been using seperate HDDs for each OS. However, when installing an extra HD in the Dell, the bios appears to only allow the use of one HD at a time. It seems an either/or situation. Is there any way to set it up to use both at the same time. I find manipulating hard drives much easier in linux and don't want to have to give up that ability, but as it is, one drive appears to be inaccessible from the other. Any ideas?
