I think the problem is not Loaders, maybe is your Bios Setting of your hdd if you are under Sata make sure the Driver Ahci Sata controller is installed. a+ windman
I changed the BIOS setting from IDE to ACHI but it give's me a Blue Screen With code 0x7b during startup. Which others method?
Some of the Intel boards gave a lot of problems with loaders in the Vista days - could be your issue. You can't install in one mode such as IDE (or SATA) then change to ACHI (or any other mode) without it failing to boot and bluescreening so do not do this again or you will lose your data.
i have a problem when i entered the window's dvd to fix the boot, i get a error the the version of the DVD is different that the i have installed.
Seriously, our keys might not work? I thought I was good to go. O-well.. Back to daz loader then if that happens....lol
Daz, when I installed 1.7.7r loader on my BootCamp 3.1 partition I could never access my BootCamp anymore - it kept restarting. You told me to "have it boot from the Windows 7 DVD then select the recovery options, from there issue the command "bootsect.exe /nt60 SYS" and reboot.", which I did and it worked fine! Now which loader should I use? I dug out the 1.7 one, but would 1.7.3 work better? Or should I wait for 1.7.8 even? Btw, I got 4 days remaining before having to activate my Win 7.
They are MSDN retail keys and will remain valid as long as you do not distribute it for any reason. If it gets too many activations within a given time then it will probably blacklist. Same thing goes for if it is available for anyone to view on the net. BTW They are really easy to blacklist unlike MAK or OEM Slp keys. Just to let you know.
