Problem with external HDD

    Hello! :)
    I have a problem with my external HDD USB 3.0 case. When I plug it in the usb 3.0 port, it start spinning, but it is not recognized. However it works in the usb 2.0 port. I have all drivers installed for usb 3.0. What may be the cause of this problem?

    If I get such problems, it's all times the Cable connection between the drive and computer. It may helps using a very good Contact Spray and spray all connectors on Cable, Drive and Computer!

    Bios update ? some bios had issues with usb3.

    Change the cable. I had the same problem sometime in the past only to find out the cable was the culprit.
