Have you recently installed something that's bough this to your attention - I see you have Nero 2016 installed, all of it? Massive bloatware, is it running something in the background?
@endbase thanks for your help...but... is not a solution...resources are the same no increase in process, memory and cpu... __________________________________________________ @Nucleus maybe ... but I do not see anything "suspicious" nero (bʺrning rom) has long been installed...I never had a problem another thing... everything works ok,no "braking etc." just as the (stupid) it appears to mouse...
Build 558 has just started doing this for me. In the past when I've had this issue it was a result of Malware.
Does restarting Explorer cure the flashing busy pointer? Task Manager > Windows Explorer > Right-click and restart. By no means a cure but does it resolve the problem temporarily?
If You ran, what You said, it doesn't, that there isn't any malware. You don't get to know in any way, is there malware or not. As You said already, You have installed Windows 10 raw version - then of course there is malware. What is at all malware? I think one very-very bad thing is adwcleaner. The truly dangerous malware for quite a long time already.
It started today with me, too. I stopped the Windows Error Reporting Service, and it ceased. Note: Go to services.msc and scroll down to Windows Error Reporting Service. Clicking STOP will return an error, but if you set it to DISABLED, click APPLY, then click STOP everything will be OK.
Same here I woke up to this issue as well. I fixed it by using the reset windows keep everything it could. I am not sure what it was...my CPU usage was staying between 10% and 28%. No malware, no virus...so I thought what the hell and used the reset win 10 tool.
@endbase sorry bad information : cpu "wild" after a few minutes - the process (Task Manager) can not see anything... to inform... I have not solved the problem again I fresh installed (558) - same problem and again I fresh installed (240) no problem - works perfectly ??? complete confusion...
It may indeed be a bug, can you try this: Click on the Start Menu and type "Services" and look for the "User Manager" service and stop it, see if this has any effect.. There are dependencies there!! you need to see what is the total effect (if it works), but it is likely to work. And while at it, check if your Hosts file is intact or corrupt... Simple.
Nothing I can do to check and test (I'm currently at 240 version) - everything is working well... Thank you very much for your commitment to solving my problem,greeting...
