    Hello everyone!

I have successfully converted the Office 2010 retail package from the repository to VL, installed it and used ZWTs Keygen to successfully activate it.

However Outlook, Powerpoint and Word (which I use most) very often hang/freeze with "not responding" shown right next to the window title. The application can then be restarted ord closed. Work since the last save is then potentially lost.

I have narrowed the problem down to this:

For every "not responding" hang in Word there is a log in event viewer:

    Event ID 1003
    followed by:

    Event ID 1002
Troble is: Software Protection service will run and perform licensing checks endlessly. Restarting Word will not help.

I googled the licensing status codes from the first event and found that 0xC004F014 is a volume activation error code. I then ran

    cscript "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office14\ospp.vbs" /dstatusall

    with this result:

Clearly the problem can be traced back to SKU IDs 1 & 3 which I believe to be remnants of the Retail -> VL conversion. A both SKU IDs have no product key it is impossible to remove them with ospp.vbs. I have therefore traced the SKU IDs in the registry and deleted them. After a reboot the issue is solved, word runs smoothly and Software Protection service quits after one successful licensing check.

However the SKU IDs are re-written to the registry at some point during uptime, logon or logoff. I am therefore using a batch script the remove the registry entries on logon and logoff.

This results in a working Word on every second boot. I usually start Word right away, type a few characters and wait for 10 mins to see whether I can work with it or not. This is quite annoying though and hence I would like some help on how to permanently remove the SKU IDs 1 & 3.

Could someone please help me with removing the SKU IDs?
