hi guys, i flashed the modded bios which i got from China4ever and activated vista it worked fine. i didnt know the SLIC but choosed Asus and i think it worked fine ?!?! How can i confirm if everything is perfect? Ok now the problem: System says activated but on desktop is still the Evaluation text... how can i remove that? How can i be sure that the bios modd is running and working now? If i install vista new which stepps will i have to repeat to activate vista again? many thanks!!
What kind of evaluation text? Is it the evaluation text from a Beta version of SP1? or what does the evaluation text say? To see if system is activated open a command prompt with administrator privileges and type: slmgr.vbs -xpr and it will tell you the activation status of your license. If you want to know more type slmrg.vbs -dlv
