    Hi,
I just format my primary PC with Windows 7 Ultimate and WU detect more than 200 updates. 64 weren't installed because of an error. NowI'm searching again for updates and try again to install the updates but WU takes more than 20 minutes for take it and I didnt have any ressult yet. I tried the IE11 method + update and it works for fetch the updates but now it doesn't work

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks in advance

I select install all updates except all security updates of framework 3.5.1 but selecting 4.5.1. I hope that this will work

I have found that trying to install all the updates at once, something will get screwed up. So what I do now is select 50 at a time and everything goes in just fine. Even with the updates dowloaded I can only instal 50 at a time or things get screwed up.

    On a clean install I:
    >manually install IE11 and the updates needed for it
    >manually install KB3102810 (which is to speed up windows update)
    >then install 50 updates at a time from the list offered to me by M$ using windows update.

So far has been running good...... not perfect like it use to be...... but not bad in these days LOL

NEWEST update that replaces KB3102810 above is KB3138612

Are you rebooting after each time you install 25?? Need to reboot after each group. I should have mentioned that.

For me isn't working. Thank you so so muc trying to help me. Now I need to select updates one by one for download it in WHDownload and try the script method. Atari, when you install all updates with that and restart, you can search for updates in WU?

What do you mean by WU is stopped again? Do you mean that is taking a long time to check again or do you mean it will not start again?

The updates are in the file You download. Superseded updates were removed and replaced so You're not downloading unnecessary updates. I run it with WU set to Never check for updates. It won't install the Telemetry and GWX updates or any Optional updates like Drivers which are the only thing I see that can "break" Your PC. You should try it or even possibly wait a couple of Days until the new version gets uploaded. I've used it on several different PCs without any problems.
