Problems Still with Start Menu

    I have upgraded and also done a clean Install.

    Previous version 8.1

    After running windows 10 and updating through the update service from microsoft.

    my Start menu becomes jumbled, and the pin to start menu shortcut does not work.

    I have tried many things

    But no joy.

    Any one have same Issues or a fix ?

    did you try and create new local account(admin) delete your MSA and reboot, log in,recreate your MSA(admin) then you can delete the local account,or you can refresh the os.

    Yes try that as well still same.

    its strange if an application or app is pinned to start menu can right click and it will unpin but not pin.

    Now paste the following command in the Administrator: Windows PowerShell window and press Enter key:Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    When helping others better use [code=rich][/code] tags for commands, else vBulletin will break the code and add additional Spaces. Then the command will fail.

    This does not work.

    its the pin to Start right click that is not working not sending apps to Start menu.....

    Same issue here. pinning to start does not show instantly but when you reboot or even log off and log on the same will appear on start screen.

    I can pin programs and apps but there are some shortcuts I can't pin. When i drag it to the start menu a red circle appears on top of it. Am I the only one? View attachment 37433

    I have solved my issue with this it was concerning Intel drivers .

    took them off and now ok...
