Are you shaking the window quickly? Do the other Aero features like Aero Snap, Aero peak .. work for you?
Yeah, the other features are working like a charm. Only Aero Shake does not work. I don't get it. I think i shake them in a good way
Oh yeah, me too. I'd seen the movie yesterday and i tried it in that way but nothing happened. Hm, maybe it shouldn't be. Too bad. Thanks anyway
Hi Same prob with me, I have a Soni Vaio Netbook 10.1 inch. It came with starter, then I upgraded to Ultimate edition of win 7. Now I can use Aero peek very well and windows are transparent also as per Aero theme. But other 2 main features - snap and shake are not working at all. Even I tried all kind of regedit change tutorials and gpedit.msc change tutorials .. I also tried to troubleshoot but it said no issues found Any help is deeply appreciated Thanks
It's still the same story here. Anyway, 'Aero shake' still doesn't work here. I'd tried different styles of shaking and tutorials. I don't get it at all and I almost gave up on it because it's not that important to me. :\
Interesting... read the thread and tried if aeroshake will work on my laptop, it didn't. Now I'm trying to find out why. *not important to me either...but why doesn't it work? lol my arm hurts now.
Unfortunately, there's no button or such thing. It's just a feature, which comes with Windows 7 (Ultimate) enabled by default.
I have had the same problem and the solution seems to be you need to be in an aero theme. Once you change to aero theme both peek and shake work OK.
I didn't think mine was working either until I held the left mouse button while I was shaking the mouse. Mine does work now.
Do you guys even know what Aero Shake even does? When you have multiple windows open and you click and drag one windows back and forth pretty fast it minimizes the other window that you do not have selected but you have to click and drag basically to get it to work lol
Sort of a windows flip 3d variant for Parkinson's sufferers ?? Anyway - works for me - thanks for the heads up - never knew it did that - guess I wasn't paying attention to the 7 release parties.
