Hey guys, I've got an Alienware M17xR3 laptop with legit Win7 x64 Ultimate, but it didn't come with physical installation media and their recovery disk doesn't let you customize anything on install (specifically, the installation drive!). I need to do a clean install to an SSD. Can I just use the default Win7 Ultimate .torr and it'll auto-activate (since it should have embedded slic already...), or will I need to modify it? Thanks!
Make a system image and keep it in a safe place. Better yet, make two or three. And always backup, backup, backup.
