Hi everybody. This is my first post on this forum and hope for some help. I've downloades 'Win 7 RTM 11 languages and local packs' from T*P*B*, offered by J****r100. I've got a Samsung N120 netbook with XP home preinstalled on first partition so I decided to test Win7 on second partition. This RTM Ultimate is pre-activated and has 7Loader integrated.
Some two weeks ago I installed this RTM using USB method and everything was fine. Before installing, I made a Acronis back-up including boot sector. 7Loader started at final install, in properties of my computer it looked like Win7 was activated. Now, 3 days ago I upgraded my N120 with the latest BIOS and now I see Win7 has two days left until automatic activation. If I press 'activate now' I get message that 'product key is not valid for activation'.
Upon this, I booted into XP on first partition, deleted the Win7 partition and formated this partition again. After that I used Acronis and restored my XP partition including boot track and also 'digital signature'. Then I installed Win7 again on second partition using the same USB method and now (yesterday) I saw that I have three days left before automatic activation. Today there is two days left.
As a desperate manouver I tried Hazars 7Loader 2 v1.5 as suggested, no difference. I tried also Daz Windows 7 Loader but no success. As I understand there is no possibility to use SLIC 2.1 method as there is no SLIC available for Samsung N120 Netbook.
Anyone here on this forum who can help me out? Was it my mistake to upgrade the BIOS? Any way to get my Win7 activated before time is out (2 days left)?

Thanks very much for some help.

    Greetings

    Hi there.

Try downloading 7Loader 1.6, use the repair activation button then install the loader ;)

Hi Hazar and thanks for your quick reply. Do you mean that I first have to do a sort of deinstall 7Loader first, then repair activation button and last install loader?

Just download, run as administrator and then click "repair activation".

Hi. My problem is still there. I think I tried every possible way to activate. First I made like suggested, repair activation and then run installed 7Loader. No success.
Then I deinstalled 7Loader, restarted, clicked Samsung OEM logo, restarted, run repair and then 7Loader, then I get error message related to application.
Then I removed OEM Branding, repair again and finally run 7Loader: still same result - 2 days remaining till automatic activation!

So now? Is there som way still finding solution or am I fu*ked? Any suggestions?

use the command prompt. find it on the start menu. under all programs / accessories. right click it and select run as administrator.

    you can then type in

    SLMGR -rearm

(you don't need to use capital letters i just used them to distinguish i from l)

if i remember rightly you can use this method a few times and get 120 days without having to activate.

That should reset your grace period and take the heat off for a while. It'll give you a chance to try some other options / find a solution.

    Hi HAZAR
I'm not up to speed on the loaders for win7. I modded my bios with slic 2.1 to activate my copy.

Are you familiar with a program called VOATK TOOLS and if so would that be of any use to jannek999 ? I understand the program is used to clear out any activation software on Vista.

I thought it best to check with you before suggesting it to him

Hi Hazar and all others. My efforts went further to activate my Win7. Tried the way Hazar suggested extending the grace period to 30-120 days without success. Now one (1) day till activation.
Now I started over again with new Win7 downloaded from this forum as 'Microsoft Windows 7 RTM (Multi-language, Multi-edition, 32 Bits)' - really fast downloadspeed! First I reformatted my second partition(old Win7 install) using XP from first patition, then I used Acronis and restored my XP back-up including Boot sector and Track 0. Then I installed this Microsoft Windows 7 RTM (Multi-language, Multi-edition, 32 Bits) from USB to second partition as dual boot. After starting new Win7 I see that I now have 30 days till activation.
Then I run 7Loader, just pressing 'Install/Remove 7Loader' button, restarting and still 30 days till activation. Then I deinstalled 7Loader, ran 'Repair Activation', then pressed Samsung 'Logo' and after that ran 7Loader again: all with the same result - 30 days till activation.

Well guys, I looks like I cannot get rid of Activation, whatever I try. What's wrong? Is there some info resting on my HDD that interferes with 7Loader? Do I have to install Win7 0n first partition and before that format the whole HDD in only one partition? Is there something in 7Loader that I have misunderstood - I always run 7Loader as Admin.

Please help me, I really don't know what to do. At least I have now 30 days left trying befor activation must be done.

    Cheers

Hi everybody. Finally, after trying different ways to activate my Win7 copy downloaded from this forum as 'Microsoft Windows 7 RTM (Multi-language, Multi-edition, 32 Bits) using 7Loader, both v1.5 and v.1.6 I was ready giving up. Yesterday I finally made last effort with latses Windows 7 Loader from Daz v1.7, and now what? My Win7 installation shows that it's ativated. I use latest BIOS 07CE and pressed in default mode th install button. After some minute I get message that SLIC, Certificate and Serial is installed OK. On OS information it says
    Version: Windows 7 Ultimate (x86)
    Build: 7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255
    Bios: SECCSD - (09/08/09)
    Staus: Activated (untouched)

Thanks Daz for this Loader, hopefully helping others to activate Win7
