I'm trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate onto a second computer, but every activator I use claims that the product key is invalid. Has the product key been blacklisted? Help!
Did you install the retail or OEM version (check your ISO name)? Only OEM versions can take an OEM key.
Unless I am exceptionally tired to the point my memory is failing... that's not exactly accurate unless you meant to say that the OEM versions can *only* accept an OEM key. The retail version happily takes OEM keys with just a couple of commands. I know, I used the Loader on my "retail" ISO install and activated it just fine.
I repeat. The retail version can be used with an OEM key. Have you read any of the information on this site.
And i repeat, yes retail accept key But if you install the updates Key is blacklistet and Activation dont work if you install OEM version and updates then is all ok with updates
Where did you get this BS? It's simply not true. OEM and Retail versions are not different. Even if your misinformation was true, Microsoft hasn't done anything up to this point but issue a press release.
i was installed Retail in wmware installed updates and black key and activation is gone and dont work with laoder anymore.....i install new the OEM version Activatet with loader and install updates and all ok
The problem is something you did, not Microsoft. Nobody else is having problems with their Retail installations.
@Freewaygr So if you can not make it work, no one else can? come on, at least test it thoroughly before posting misleading information
