I'm new in this forum that is great!. I've installed Win7 Ultimate 32 bit v.7601 with SP1 formatting partition C. I have used WATFix and Windows Loader v2.0.3 by Daz. The system did'nt reboot and I used the "bootsect.exe" procedure that worked and I could boot Win7 that is working normally and making updates. I then went online to ms/genuine for activation that went OK. BUT now my PC Windows at Activation says 28 days lasted for activation. If I click Activate Windows now (I'm translating from italian) the screen says "the Product Key code is not valid for activation". What can I do?. Help please.
When you used bootsect.exe, you removed the loader. Your computer is now in 30 day trial mode. I would try re-installing the loader using the advanced options to disable type 4 memory. If that fails you could try legacy mode. I am sure that eventually you will find the correct settings that allows your computer to boot normally. I have found the best results are when you install using a CLEAN copy of Windows 7 and Daz's loader. If you absolutely can not get the loader to function correctly, I would use Trilogy to keep you in perpetual trial mode. KMS would be an option for Enterprise or Professional but does not work with Ultimate. Any of the activation methods that alter system files (RemoveWat et al) are just asking for trouble and should be avoided.
THANKS a lot Nimbus 2000 and acrsn!!! After some try I succeeded, following Nimbus suggestion and after uninstalling and installing Windows Loader by Daz, using just "legacy mode". The system reboots normally, the online activation was fine and the PC Activation says that Windows is activated and genuine. THANKS 2000 times!
