Don't post about: all the 'Social' stuff.. (Mail, Chat, Browsers, ...) Media Players... (cause thats more or less.. obvious) For me its 'Listary' and 'Everything'.
Hmm if you leave out Digsby, Chrome and Zune then the only other thing I use almost all the time is notepad. I have a tendency when I find something interesting to stick it in a text file. I have one text file that I stick everything in to, then I go through it later.
Exactly, where would we be without it. Amazing today it hardly ever crashes as well. Linux is fine to mess with, but for everyday computing windows is still great.
For me a purchased Internet Security Software is essential. Specially AVG Internet Security or Norton 360.
There are a few but these 2 are irreplaceable. Symantec Ghost(DOS version) Paragon Partition Manager. then all the rest of the like command prompt, notepad and many others.
Notepad++ I do all my coding in that. html, css, php, C++ C# etc. I would be lost without it. I sometimes go to use an IDE, and end up going back to notepad++ And a more general essential tool: Linux.
For Windows, it would be Process Explorer. I've been using it since the last 'must have' Windows was released, Windows 98. It's the first thing I install on any Win rig.
