    Hello everybody
I downloaded a programe few days ago ,and deleted it soon after that[called
    "informer ".
Then realized that programe icons in > control pannel > uninstall programes
have disappeared [simply no programe icons ] ,although programes still running normally. Installing and deleting new programes with no problem.
Any idea for fixing this problem and showing icons again .
    Thanks .

    look in registry key
    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
and see if there are any entries there for your before you installed informer if there are none i would try system restore.

can't see screenshot but by the looks of things that must just be the new programs you have installed did you check the registry. personally i think when you uninstalled informer it deleted the keys from
    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
i have had that before but never all entries being deleted. You can only try system restore see what happens at a push you can reinstall your programs even though they are still working or at a worst you may still be able to uninstall them if needed by going into program files and running the individual uninstall programs.:(
