I'm a little confused about what Microsoft has done with Project. It used to be part of Office but now it's standalone. I apologize then if I'm posting in the wrong forum.

I already have Office 2010 x64 on my system, activated.

What do I need to get Project (Professional preferably) as well?

Will activating interfere with Office 2010?

And how often will I need to rearm?

    Thanks, greatly appreciated.

Office 2010 is seperate from Project 2010 and Visio 2010.
therefore you require key/activation for each one.

I just installed it over the top. Says it's activated.

Is there a specific activator for Project?

Don't edit your post to say It's activated..It will confuse the person who comes next looking for the answer

Well it was already activated when I installed it over a KMS activated version of Office 2010. If that confuses anyone reading this well just so you know I'm a little confused too.

For the record I've checked Cody's tool and it will do it. So if you install Project, check to see if it's activated. If not, run Cody's tool. The link's above.

    Thanks all.
