    Is there a difference between these two similar options?

    I'll provide screenshots if you dont know what I mean.

    You could just try each and see. My money is on Run as Admin is Run as Admin regardless of the path you take to get to it assuming both actions are trying to get you the same end result.

    Using the Run as administrator via Compatibility Tab, lets you set the use of specific Files/Apps permanently to run as Admin, which is sometimes an advantage.
