Sebus, I do not even know anything about compilers or compiling things. What I was hoping for is to compile and extra details unknown to non-Linux experts such as, "you need to download this package A using this command, and do this or that, then follow this step" ... that's what I mean. Just a little bit more simplified or more clarification on the HOW - to common lay man terms. Again, I am certain this is not that "simple" to others. Maybe to you and other experienced Linux users - not the general populous. You understand what assistance I was hoping for?
Not really, because if you do not know then you do simply not know. Nothing is going to change it (but yourself) You want to use application like that one you need to invest a bit of time to learn at least basics & not rely on set of batch commands that you have no understanding what they are doing. It is not rocket science after all, I find your provided instructions perfectly OK to start (and you will learn in the process!) sebus
