Hi, I have set up push mail on my 2 email apps (9mail and mymail) so I will be notified when I receive new emails. After 30 mins, my phone display will turn off until I use it again. With my 9 mail app, i still receive emails instantly. However, the mymail app, I will receive emails after a 1/2 after it is sent. Is this normal for some Mail apps or should I be receiving them right away? Thx
If push email is working you should get notified instantly. I suppose it's not working with the mymail app, it seems it still uses polling and the polling interval is half an hour. (Depending on sync interval also)
