    Hello guys,

A friend is getting a new monster PC, including Windows 7. It is a tailormade PC from different parts.

If he recieves the PC with Windows 7 already installed (the PC shop has installed it) then he MUST also receive a Windows 7 DVD, am I correct?

The PC shop can't use some weird license so that they don't have to supply him with a Windows 7 DVD?

    Thanks,

    pwr

They should give him a disk but no guarantee on that. Why not just ask the shop?

He will, if it is not included. But I was under the impression that Windows must never be sold without the actual DVD/sticker etc. unless it is from one of the OEM partners

No matter what MS allows anyone can break the rule. That is why it is best to ask the shop.
