WinToolkit you don't need to adjust the registry paths leave as like online system (i.e. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE , HKEY_CURRENT_USER) and it will handle and adjust them for merging
Ah didn't know that. thanks for the hint. Just curious... Is there a external tool that adjust and import them automatically? not like sed.exe or search/replace... something that can load hives, import, unload or something similar... yes can all be done by script but a tool would be nicer and maybe some tool exist (that i just don't know about). Perfect would be something like RegImport.exe XX.wim/Mount /file:regfile1.reg /file:regfile2.reg
You could look at the new nLite. I think that does what your after. It aint free now a days though. Never used it . I would rather do it myself. I use $oem$ folder and OOBE to add some reg tweaks as the OS installs. Suppose what reg you want to tweak.
