Hi friend when try search a new Windows 7 AIO X86 & X64 I found more link but with ESD in character try search again for mean ESD but can't found any guide for it. I think esd is compressed file install!! any one can explain it. Thanks
like everyone explained above, ESD is a highly compressed and encrypted format used by microsoft to transfer ISO images and such. my guess they only started using ESD when windows 8 got released or when 8.1 came out.
The meaning of the acronym ESD in file extension is 'Expertscan Survey Document' which is different from Electronic Data Sheet(ESD) used by network configuration tool, etc. It is a secured and highly compressed file system as many people has mentioned. Whenever you come across such file extension you are quite sure it is not only Microsoft that makes use of it.
