If privacy is important to you ( and it really should be in this day and age ) then qubes is going to be increasingly more vital. Combined with Whonix and a few anonymously paid VPNs you can have a state-of-the-art privacy package for very little outlay. You will have to invest time and effort though , but it's well worth it. In the aftermath of Paris , the " Five Eyes " will be trying to destroy the very concept of privacy in the wired world. It's not necessarily malice on their part , it is helplessness ..... they simply do not know what to do. This was the way the wind was blowing before the horrors in France .... Qubes can help us to redress the balance. -
Hmmm... just wonder tho' Running a VM (bare-metal or not) depends on what's inside - i.e running Windows still has the inherent security risks albeit contained - a nice concept tho'.
I would like this to have a LMDE 2 template with OpenVPN pre-installed too. . Then I could use it in a live DVD environment ; in order to have a "no touch" OS session.
