yes but you still need to use the activator or the tool kit or it will run out in a month like any copy of windows, when using the activator it will replace the RTM with the RC expiration date
re-arm is the way to go, not turning this build into "frankenbuild".. the reason? MS can at pretty much any time, thru windows update, render the build USELESS AND DISABLED.. where just re arming for another 30 days gives you up to 120 days without any worry of ms disabling the os, assuring you do not lose critical files, etc, etc.. in a nutshell, IT IS NOT AN ACTIVATOR at all, but a sure way to lose current and future data, WHEN, not if, BUT WHEN MS disables The "Frankenbuild"
thats why i always turn off windows automatic updates and check manually for updates and that way i can select the updates to install.
They can however sneak some under-the-hood updates and you won't even notice. It's their OS. Unless you decompile each and every update you want to get it's virtually impossible to tell if an update is 'safe' to save a frankenbuild
We have been telling everyone that a bios-mod with SLIC2.1 is the way to go. But some choose the 'simplier' way and they will be caught red-handed someday ... or theirs OS'es suddenly stop working, or - the timebomb will be activated (any RTM activated via RC-mod will get the timebomb back)
Setup.exe build 7600.16385 Can anyone upload the "setup.exe" from the build 7600.16385? Thanks in advantage!
