Hello. So I bought an OEM:NSLP licence of Windows 7 Home Premium and it came with an installation DVD. I had a look at it and noticed that it's not Media Refresh. I also found something else - while every other Windows 7 ISO I have downloaded has the channel in ei.cfg set to Retail this one is OEM. So what does the difference in the channel do? Will I have any problems using my product key if I used a disc from the Retail channel? Because I'd rather use a Media Refresh ISO if I can. Sorry if anything was confusing. English isn't my native language.
Makes no difference whatsoever. The ei.cfg determines optionally which channel is default and which edition is installed, but the channel is overridden by whatever key you plug into it.
