I have downloaded and updated my computer using this ESD Code: wsus.ds.b1.download.windowsupdate.com/c/updt/2016/07/14393.0.160715-1616.rs1_release_cliententerprise_vol_x64fre_en-us_47abc117b9d3de907b4c72f5d30e2c377bccd749.esd . In updates section in the settings app I get the following problem. your Windows insider preview needs attention Or something to that extent. Did not get the exact wording, As I in a hurry restore my previous OS, But to me it looks as if I am running a insiders Build not the final if the above is not the final can some one point me to the correct one.
It's related to having telemetry disabled by group policy, because joining the Insider program requires it to be on. Stupid to show the error even if you don't intend to join the preview program, I know.
I have never been in the insiders program, was running a legit enterprise copy with a bixspark issued key.
Yeah, that's why I called it stupid to have the warning message displayed. I suppose this is something they're going to fix with an update, you'll just have to ignore it until then. There's no doubt that 14393 is RTM.
I still have this message too, even after clean install on 2 laptops. On one of the laptops I'm logged in to my live account (non-insider). So, I don't know. What I noticed: Before I clean installed with the RS1 iso I was on 14393.0, with logged in live account, no message about this, even after click on the Insider Program settings, now I have this annoying message.
Ok, I have downloaded and installed the official Windows 10 Anniversary update and am still getting this error. I also am using a local account instead of a MS account and all settings are in their default status. Note I am not on now or have I ever installed a insider build.
