Question about HP Recovery dvd's

    Hello i would like to know if there's any possible way of getting hp windows 7 factory reset recovery dvd's to to install on any model? eg: hp pavilion G60 Windows 7 recovery dvd to work on hp pavilion dv7 ?? is there any hack? Only i tried but got error message recovery dvd's not for this pc ..

    Each set is made for the specific pc model. It would be a huge bust even trying to attempt some thing like that.

    They are model and CPU-specific.
    So any Recovery DVD from the DV7-series with AMD CPUs will fit the rest of the models in that series.
    Compaqs are a bit different.
