    Hello eveybody,
I'm Learning the basics of slipstreaming and deployment by creating an updated ISO. I'm doing this by sysprepping.
I tried to install kb2592687 (rdp 8.0) but it failed as the hotfix kb2574819 has to be installed.
However, Microsoft's Update Catalog says that kb2574819 has been replaced by kb3125574 (the convenience rollup), that is installed, but kb2592687 will refuse to install until I install 2574819.
What do you think About this? Why should I install an update that has already been replaced by a newer one?

    Catalog is semi-wrong
KB2574819 is superseded on the components level
but it's explicit prerequisite for KB2592687 and KB2830477 (i.e. identified in their internal packages)

the whole reason for v2 of KB2574819 is to add additional manifest to prevent system from uninstalling it "accidentally"
