Honestly I would get a few broken or really nasty ones and referb my own. That is what I am doing now, just have to get a new lcd and charger for it and its a go. Could sell it for more then I spent to fix it and turn a profit. Do that multiple times and bam you've got enough to buy a super nice brand new laptop.
yeah its hit and miss with most owner/sellers but Manufacturer more often than not are pretty good. Overstock.com might be something to check as well. Their electronics section, personally the few times I have ordered through them, the laptops have been very good condition.
Thanks , that's a relief well this laptop is manufacturer refurbished and has 90 days warranty on it ! So i think that's good enough then
You could check with Dell Refurbished. I know on their Ebay store, they are pretty much giving a lot of laptops away.. Latitude E6410's with the 2.6ghz I7 and 4gb of Ram are selling for $330ish.. I know that has a 14.1" screen and a bit smaller hard drive ( 250gb ) but otherwise basically comparable and $300 less... 30 day warranty tho, you could get an extended squaretrade warranty from Ebay for a small fee
toshibas issue is mostly with bios.. flash and brick a lot. and they do updates on bios almost every 2 or 3 months (bug central)
