X17-75238.exe is it VL or Retail?
also, can "Office 2010 Installer Channel Switcher" be used to convert it
and can trilogy be used to activate it?
    thank you

The indicated input file does not seem to be a supported Office, Visio or Project installer.

Office 2010 Installer Channel Switcher is showing this error when i am selecting the X17-75238.exe file

in the end i used windows 7 [with the admin permissions] and it worked just fine.
first i was using the windows xp sp3 when i was getting the error written above,
but same files worked fine in win7 (with admin rights).
