I have office 2003 x32 bit and lastly want to install office 2013 x64 bit on the same machine, I was prompted that a 32 bit version existed, either remove the 32 bit or install a 32 bit office 2013.
Is there any way to work round such that both version an co-exist?

    Thx!

    Humphrey,

I guess you had 32 bit version of 2010 and 2013 installed. My problem was, can both 32 bit and 64bit office install on the same machine?

    No, they cannot co-exist. o_O
Upon trying to install anyone of a different architecture from your previous Office install, it will prompt you to install products of its own architecture. Just like the one you encountered.

You are expected to use all MS Office products of the same suite & same arch irrespective of your machine's.

I hope that helps you clear your doubts. :)
