Which registry hack? Also, startisback for windows 11 is now called startallback and is $1.50USD if you already have a startisback license and $5.00USD if you don't.

Is there any way to make the Taskbar less high? As the Taskbar in standard is quite high (about 48pix) I would have them like 30-32pix only. And I don't like to use Auto-Hide of the Taskbar! On Laptop and/or Netbook the standard Taskbar use simply to much space. Unfortunately, in Windows 11 you could not set the Taskbar to small, as in Windows 10!
I don't want any 3. party apps, native Windows 11 only! Edit: that applies to the Windows Start Menu and some other Windows native Standard Apps.
I keep forgetting that some people here can't or won't use third party anything for whatever reason. There should be some kind of indication by someone's user name that says "No third party anything ever!"
@pf100: Can you imagine that there are quite some users, in my case most of my customers, who will not use any 3. party apps? They want the OS as it is delivered by the developer! And my customers always come first and dictating what and how I could do something! That's simply my Income!
Hello everyboddy ! Usually I come to get tips on this forum but I'll leave this tip to you: To customize the start menu of Windows 11 you need to copy the file start.bin located in the path "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState" from a source user profile and then copy the file to C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState (Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy and LocalState folders must be created). When you make a new account, the start menu is the same of the start menu of the copied file frome the source user profile.
thank you will_27 your method is working also i used backup restore startmenu layout tool from sordum.org, start bin can be placed here; (for iso preparation) C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState change default to user for live system
First you told me no third party apps. Now you promote third party apps. So which is it? No third party apps, or yes to third party apps? Or is it only no third party apps when I recommend them and yes to third party apps when you recommend them?
@pf100: YOU really don't deserve an answer, I'll not start a heated discussion with people like you! Period!
