Windows Vista was successfully installed on the GIGABYTE B550 VISION D-P, but no compatible/modified drivers were found. I tried using programs such as Snappy Driver, 3DP Chip, etc., but it didn't work out. If anyone has any information on this, please help me.
Because the fun of the challenge? (not all the human being are already turned to iPhone zombies) Because can happen that one needs an old OS up and running for whatever reason, and using it an old system is impractical?
Whatever, start elaborating about what's missing/not working, and post the PID/VID of the hw that has missing drivers
I have not installed Windows Vista SP2 64-bit on anything newer than a 3rd generation Intel motherboard because that is when driver issues started appearing. I can only imagine how many driver issues there are with more modern Intel motherboards. I have no experience with AMD motherboards, so I will stay out of that conversation.
Looking at device manager. It's a feature that is there since (as least) XP Or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum if you are on GUI less OS or Win95/98
