Question of design - white internal DVD-RW?

    take faceplace off dvd drive and paint.. easy

    I have never seen a brilliant white one which would match your case. They have always been an off white, cream colour.

    How often would you need to use a disc ?
    Whats on these discs ?

    Maybe buy a large capacity HDD. Plug in a dvd ram as a temp measure, rip the contents of your discs to folders in the new HDD. Remove the dvd ram.
    This will keep the clean looks of the case.

    Or use an external dvd drive and only plug it in when needed.

    if by any chance you plan using OS X hackintosh.. samsung dvd has firmware issue with sleep, drive stays active.
    i use optiarc since 2008 and no problems.
    just a pointer in case
