Well, I am looking for the best office + activation method for my case. I did some research and I found out that there are a few ways to active the office 2010 so thats why i decided to ask u guys. All I need is Word + Excel + PowerPoint (All in English). And what type of activation should I use?

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: It seems like all i need is Home and Student, can someone upload the x64 Home and Student (English) retail version for me?
EDIT2: Home and Student doesn't have a Volume version, so i guess i can't use it.. is that right? I might need to stick with Standard.

There is no volume edition of Office Home & Student.
I think the best way for you is to download this:

    MICROSOFT.OFFICE.2010.STANDARD.RTM.VOLUME.COMBO.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT
    BUILD: 14.0.4763.1000
    FILE: 14.0.4763.1000_Standard_volume_ship_combo_en-us_dvd.iso
    SIZE: 1,320,194,048 byte
    SHA1: BA7C422752B3ECFA0BC92CCD70E5D329CCCDDEDC
    MD5: 196ED4E441A7114E591AC960930900B1
    CRC: 76F54B6B

    And for activation use:

    FILE: mini-KMS_Activator_v1.072_EN.exe
    SIZE: 2,554,974 byte
    CRC: FFDB47CB
    MD5: 479D2657EC2ECD1A888B2E1576121510
    SHA-1: 2BECA91F267D5897A1DB86F70C54E21F3A44C493
    CRC32: D1E9E977
    MD5: BA804E62F9C39F87B9F0E009614E55BA
    SHA-1: 528FBB0E7ED33FE9BA7F1225866986190B3951AE

If you use a antivirus and firewall, they might detect the mini-KMS_activator.
Do not worry! The file is completely clean. Just ignore the warnings!

    To answer your questions:

    2. No the Channel Switcher won't be required as you'll already have the Volume edition

    3. No key is required to install the Volume edition

    4. I only recommended IORRT because I think it's a cleaner and safer way to run Office, you go with whatever you feel is best for you ;)

    5. No

    Hope I've helped you :)

Thanks, that does help a lot!

Regarding 1., I was actually thinking of downloading the individual installer EXEs for Word, Excel and PPT, but they were larger in size combined than the Standard VL ISO, which contains more apps! So I guess Standard VL it is for me, and I'll just do a custom install.

As for 4., can you explain a bit why IORRT is cleaner/safer? I thought that after manual activation with the KMS emulator once every 180 days, it's not required to have any task running on the system, or even have any extra hidden files as IORRT requires. Not knocking IORRT of course (I used Trilogy myself), but would genuinely like to know why exactly you recommend it so that I can use it too if it's really the better method.
