I have a copy or Windows 8.1 named en_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_4065090.iso. I use this to do legal clean installs and works on your HP,Dell, etc computers. My question is....If I want to use Microsoft Toolkit to activate a computer that came with Windows 7 but want to give them 8.1 can I use this same version listed above or do I need a VL version to do this? I'm not clear on how this works. Can I convert my current version to VL if necessary? Thanks.

Yep, still a lot of confusion regarding VL version or not :cool2:. Actually the KMS Emulators will activate all Win 8/8.x versions after installing the matching gVLK.

Note : The activation with the KMS live 180 days, you must rearm before the end.

not rearm, but reactivate. Two different things. Using MTK ez-activator will do this every reboot and/or every 24? hours. Never getting under much more than 178 days, infinite activation.
