Hello I recently downloaded Vista Enterprise 64 bit from this site file name is

    6001.18000.080118-1840_amd64fre_Enterprise_en-us_VL-FRMEXVOL_EN_DVD.iso

was wondering why the file name has the AMD64 in it? does that mean it only runs on AMD64 processor and I won't be able to install it on my Intel E8400? I am confused.

There is no specific AMD version of Windows Vista... theres just the different flavors (Home, Premium, Ultimate) and the architecture X32 or X64.

The X64 version of XP had an AMD64 folder where all the files sat, but it still worked with Intel chips with EMT64 on die. so you should be all set.
