Quick Question - would these specs run XP OK

    Hi all.

    Just got an old PC up and running for my mate.

    It was running Win 200 but i have slung in XP Pro SP2 ( will put SP3 in,if OK)

    The PC specs are :

    Intel Celeron 634 mhz
    320 mb RAM

    You clever folk will know.

    Will this run XP or should i put Win ME in, insted ?

    Well XP Pro loaded on and is running fine.
    Better than i expected.

    which is nice...:)

    Windows Fundamentals will be even faster, as it designed for old hardware :)

    I wouldn't mess with this Fundamentals install..too troublesome..

    I think you can run XP fine on it, just dont expect too much. I think Windows 2000 would be better.

    Windows Fundamentals would not be faster, IMHO.....
