Looking for some how on how to keep the Quick Icon Display permanent.

A nifty feature of Win-10 is the ability to create a shortcut Icon Display from the Start Menu icon. All you have to do is to click it and you can get a display of items that you configured to display when you click the Start button.

But sometimes Windows 10 forgets how to display it, and only displays the non-color icons and leaves out menu items that have a folder icon.

It can be easily fixed using Task Manager and scrolling all the way to the bottom of the listing and right clicking on the Windows Explorer Icon and selecting Restart. And then everything is back to normal. Until the next re-boot. But sometimes it survives more than one re-boot and I have no reason as to why Windows forget most of the icons in the Start Menu. Nothing I have done seems to fix the display to be permanent.

Any help will be appreciated. System is Win-10 Enterprise
