Quick Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard SLIC 2.3 Activation Question

    That should work fine. :cool:
    I've only tried it on Hyper-V, which used the Fujitsu 2.3 Bin/Slic combo and the Dell key
    But I don't see why it wouldn't work on a Lenovo server, as long as it really has a 2.3 Slic Bios.

    note: I've seen a couple of Acer/Dell PC's that appear to have dummy Slic's ???

    Good call on the "real SLIC 2.3". Apparently the server's bios did not come with it (I guess they got smart and no longer wants to give out freebies). I posted a request in the request forum to mod the Bios with Lenovo SLIC 2.3 added. Is this even possible? (I see Lenovo SLIC 2.3 available in the OEMCert thread).

    Normally it works fine.
    I have mod my X9SCM from Supermicro with Dell 2.3 Slic and use the 2012r2 Standard with Dell Key.

    Modded my gigabyte with Dell 2.3 Slic and Server standard activates everytime with Dell key and Dell OEM cert.
