    Hi!
    I have bought 2 WD 500gb hdd's and want to install Windows 7 with RAID0!
    I am using a Gigabyte P35 Motherboard and i have no clue how to set up the RAID0-system... In BIOS i have switched the mode to RAID, but there is nothing more that i can do in BIOS! I've tried to load drivers in windows 7 install but it does not work very well. Sorry if the English is poor, i'm from Sweden! Please help me :eek:

    after you switch the mode to RAID0 you will have a screen that comes up after the computer's POST screen comes up asking you to press a key combination (shift-F10 is common) you will then select the hard drives you want to put in your array and create the array. Creating the array will erase all the data on BOTH hard drives so backup your data or it will be gone.

    If you need more help read the manual for your motherboard it will give you more detailed instructions.

    Okay, i can try the key combination! But it only says Press any key to continue after switching to RAID! Did that and it only carried on with Windows 7 install. Anyone else got some tips and experience? Thanks HSChronic for the help!

    Don't forget as the lads have said above read the mobo manual and also you will need a floppy drive and the mobo driver disc as it has the the Raid drivers on it.

    Windows 7 doesn't need any driver disk for raid with the P35 chipset ...
    these chipsets are older than win7 RTM and there are already included in win7...
    After the installation of win7
    you may always update chipset drivers and storage manager to latest version below ;
    intel chipset INF v9111019
    Inte Storage Manager 8.9.0.1023

    just first setup the raid volume (press CTRL-I after post to enter INTEL raid setup)
    reboot , now windows 7 will access your raid 0 volume for install ...

    Checked out the manual and it appeared that my motherboard only supported SATA/AHCI and not AHCI/RAID :/
    I have the GA-P35-DS3 edition. The GA-P35-DS3R has the ability to RAID...
    So apparently i need to buy a PCI-card :p Ah, what the hell.....
