ram too fast ?

    is it bad if i put 800mhz ram into a 667mh system?

    Nope. 'Cause the RAM will work @667MHz. ;)

    Almost all systems will underclock ram to 667mhz "IF" needed, so there is no need to by slower ram especially when some of the faster stuff is cheaper right now.

    Also, "MOST" motherboards (including laptops) will run the ram at the higher speed, even if they list 667mhz. Some need a bios update to do so.

    I would keep the ram and install it
