So weird.. I downloaded a torrent that supposedly contains both the 7LoaderRelease5 and the RemoveWAT. After I ran the loader and rebooted, my OS shows genuine. So I thought I was finished. After a few days, I happen to read the readme text which instructs me to open the removeWat. I realize after 2 days, there is one more step to do. So I open up the activator folder but there is no removewat, only the loader. No wonder I thought I was finished a few days ago. I figured, okay maybe I deleted by accident. So I downloaded the same torrent again. This time, there is no loader and only removeWat. What is going on???? So weird. It was the blaze69 torrent.

Anyway, I have not completed step 2 of clicking that removewat button. Can someone tell me what's the best thing to do at this point in order to install SP1 safely? I have read the common questions, but I don't think any of it addresses my unique situation of having already ran the 7LoaderRelease5, but not the removewat yet.

    Thank you in advance.

How do you uninstall it? I don't see it in the installed programs list. Also, since I never ran the removeWat, is it correct to assume I don't have to do the wat fix?

I just wanted to do a clean install and figure might as well get the latest OS, but I'm thinking this crack stuff is not for me. I don't have time to keep up with "what and what not" to do. I found my re-installation dvd for my vista, and I'm going back to that. Thank you though for everybody's help. This site is pretty interesting.
