    Hi,

    I am running Windows 8.1 64bit with Office 2013 32bit installed.

Out of the blue and randomly this morning my office suite told me my activation has failed.

When I tried to reactive using the newest version of MSToolkit, I get this message:

    ----------------------------------------
    Installing Any Matching Volume Keys.
    ----------------------------------------
    Attempting To Activate Microsoft Office
    Attempting to Activate OfficeProPlusVL_KMS_Client
    ERROR CODE: 0x8007000D
ERROR TEXT: The data is invalid.
    <Product activation failed>
    ----------------------------------------

I've tried what is shown here:

    forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/41156-SOLUTION-Error-0x8007000D-Finally!-D-D

However, that doesn't help me and the prompt does not provide me with a product key.

For now I have rearmed Office which stopped the warning but the system is still looking to be activated.

Any idea on what happen and how to fixed this without a whole reinstall?

    Thanks!

That error mostly appears in case the Localhost Bypass fails. Check 'Readme' buttons FAQ tab of the Toolkit for info about exclusions.

    Hi,

Thank you for the quick reply.

I found the LocalHost Settings in the settings menu but I must be missing what I need to do in the Readme.

Could you either paste the steps or assist in walking me through the process? :)

    Thank you!

Thank you. I have followed the post but still it gives me the same error.

Don't forget this was working just fine until today.

Should I be looking at reinstalling Office at this point?

Would try at least KMS_VL_ALL from my sig, to exclude MTK as error source. If it also fails it seems to be an Office problem.

I am not sure how to do all of that, so I might just do a reinstall.

In 'Settings/Local Host Bypass' Tab chose TAP and test again.
