when running on 6GB or less system is stable

When using 6 GB no matter which ones and what slots system is stable.

When switching to 8GB ram random BSOD's with varius errors.

Test i did with memtest so far:

all 4 slots occupied. voltage default 1.6. error
    Slot 1 - Stick 1 - 14 passes - clean
    Slot 2 - stick 2 - 7 passes - clean
    slot 3 + slot 4 - stick 3 +stick 4 - 8 passes - clean

    Gona continue tonight.

I think its a ram voltage issue.
I somewhat fixed it before upping the voltage to 1.75 but now it doesnt help

Now running on 6 GB for stability

Try loosening off the timings, make sure if all RAM sticks are not identical, that the timings are set to the slowest RAMs timings

If they are not identical, make sure they are in matched channels too, don't mix them

Run them at slowest RAMs stock clocks / voltages too

I can only recommend using RAM from the same manufacturer, purchased at the same time, together. Running 32GiB (4x8GiB) in DD3-1600 mode that way, no issues at all.

If I remember correctly, boards had been produced with 4 DIMM sockets, but you could use only 3 of them at a time...

I have 2x2GB & 2x4GB of the same make RAM, same clocks, but different timings - they work fine together but it took a lot of patience and tweaking to get it stable
