The problem is exactly what I wrote on the title. When I install Realtek audio drivers, I get lots of bugs on Windows 10 no matter what driver version I install. The bugs I've realized are: I can't open "frequent" things on my task bar (the shortcuts that you can see clicking with the right button on any icon on task bar, like the user folder, downloads folder, ...), When I try to open sound configuration or eject a flash drive safely, the UAC always ask if the rundll32.exe can make changes on my PC and I cannot change my lockscreen wallpaper. Uninstalling the driver does not solve the problem, once I install it and got the bugs, the only way to solve is formatting and reinstalling Windows. I've seen some people with the same problem in some forums, but I've found no solution.

EDIT: I formatted my PC and now even without installing Realtek drives my Windows got the same bugs. Now I really don't know what might cause them.

PS: I know it is a little bit confusing, but I'm not a native english speaker. If you don't get some part, tell me and I'll try to explain it better. Thanks for helping ;)

It is unlikely that these problems have related with the things you described.
Most probably is Your system damaged, Windows is damaged or it's settings are wrong or You need to ask for help from people, who knows how Windows works.
This is not possible, that audio driver blocks to open some folder or will begin to change some wallpaper. Simply not possible.
It would be very wise to go to a doctor if you need to do a brain surgery. Do not try do it yourself.

Yeah, I used to think like you, but it just happens after I install the driver, and I've seen lots of people with the same problem, telling that Realtek driver is somehow messing with Windows files.
Although there are other people with that problem, I've found no solution for me (there are some, but none of them worked for me).

But of course, if that should be true, just some other driver should be used. What's the question.
I do not have problem, still works, although the latest version 1803 and all the latest updates are also installed.

All the versions I tried didn't solve the problem, however there are some newer versions that the sound just does not work.

i am using MSI board. I had to download the driver from manufacturer's website and install the driver listed there for the audio to work.
Not the latest driver but the sound is decent enough. Could u give it a try.

I've already tried the driver from Gigabyte's site, but the same happens.
If I remember correctly, this problem started after one of the big updates for Windows, but I'm not sure.
