After activation problems with WS2012E, I have reinstalled WS2012E and all seems to work properly again, till I experienced problems with RDC from W7 to the server and mounting the pre-defined SMB 1.0 Network Shares from W7 to WS2012E and from WS2012E to my Freecom Network drive.
With RDC from W7 I could login with just login name and password, but now WS2012E desires the FQDName from the users. I discovered that WS2012E is a domain server for a domain from which the 1st part is equal to the workgroup that I use. I tried to demote without success, due to the installed authentication service by default.
I have except to live with this, because I'm able to RDC, but I think this might be the problem for mounting the WS2012E server shares from W7 workstations and mounting the SMB 1.0 Network Shares from WS2012E to my Freecom SMB server.
    How can I solve this?
