RDP over VPN

    Hi Guys,
    i dont know if i am asking on the right forum about my issue.
    when i am connected over the VPN, can't RDP to LAN Win 7 Pro.
    the errors comes back with Internal error has occured.

    when i am connected with the VPN i can ping the machine and everything is fine
    when i am on the LAN with the same laptop RDP works fine.

    connecting from Win 8 64bit trying to RDP to Win 7 Pro 64bit

    have you opened a port in your router for RDP? Forward TCP port 3389 to the address (e.g. 192.168.1.124) of the machine you want to remote to.

    as i mentioned it works fine when i am in the office .
    port is open over the lan and VPN .

    Maybge the IP of the machine you're using is changed while in using VPN connection?!

    In Security Kiss, which I mainly use, the IP of my desktop change from 192.xxx.xxx.xxx to 10.x.x.x! If that's happen to your machine, the port forwarding in Router will not work because of false IP!
